At African Community CIC, health equity begins with knowledge. Our upcoming workshops offer practical guidance and open dialogue on the issues that matter most to our communities.

  • Navigating the NHS with Confidence: Learn how to access services, advocate for your needs, and understand your rights within the UK healthcare system.
  • Breaking the Silence on Mental Health: Explore stigma, cultural barriers, and pathways to support for emotional wellbeing.
  • Early Testing & Awareness: Prostate Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Liver Cancer, Myeloma, Womb Cancer and Fibroids: Understand symptoms, screening options, and the importance of early intervention.
  • Maternal Health Matters: From pregnancy to postnatal care, empowering Black and minoritised women with knowledge and support.
  • Healthy Eating for Vibrant Living: Culturally relevant nutrition tips, meal planning, and food justice conversations.
  • Preventing & Managing Chronic Conditions: Practical strategies for tackling diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and other long-term illnesses through lifestyle and community support.
